O κύκλος μαθημάτων «Γίνε Ήρωας του Διαδικτύου» που προσφέρονται από το ΙΤΕ και παρέχουν στους εκπαιδευτικούς τα εργαλεία και τις μεθόδους που χρειάζονται για να διδάξουν τις βασικές αρχές ψηφιακής ασφάλειας και ψηφιακής ιθαγένειας στο περιβάλλον της σχολικής τάξης,εμπλουτίστηκε και ανανεώθηκε,με την υποστήριξη της Google.org μέσω του οργανισμού School with Class Foundation που ηγείται της υλοποίηση του «Γίνε Ήρωας του Διαδικτύου» στην Κεντρική και Ανατολική Ευρώπη. Το πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει σεμινάρια για εκπαιδευτικούς Νηπιαγωγείου, Δημοτικού και Γυμνασίου και ενισχύθηκε με νέο εκπαιδευτικό υλικό για πολύ μικρά παιδιά νηπιαγωγείου και πρώτων τάξεων δημοτικού. Το εγχειρίδιο μεταφράστηκε και στα Φαρσί σε μια προσπάθεια να επωφεληθούν και οι εκπαιδευτικοί που διδάσκουν σε μαθητές πρόσφυγες/μετανάστες. Το πρόγραμμα υλοποιείται,χωρίς χρέωση, από το Ινστιτούτο Πληροφορικής του Ιδρύματος Τεχνολογίας και Έρευνας και υποστηρίζεται από τη Google.org. ενώσυγκαταλέγεται σταπροτεινόμενα Προγράμματα & Εφαρμογές των Εργαστηρίων Δεξιοτήτων 21+του Ινστιτούτου Εκπαιδευτικής Πολιτικής. Για την παρακολούθηση κάθε διαφορετικού σεμιναρίου παρέχεταιΠιστοποιητικό Παρακολούθησηςστους εκπαιδευτικούς.Μέχρι σήμερα, περισσότεροι από 7.000 εκπαιδευτικοί έχουν παρακολουθήσει τα σεμινάρια και με τη σειρά τους έχουν διδάξει το πρόγραμμα σε σχεδόν 400.000 μαθητές. Απαντώντας σε σχετικό ερωτηματολόγιο, το 98% των εκπαιδευτικών δηλώνει ότι η συμμετοχή στο πρόγραμμα ενδυνάμωσε την ικανότητα τους να διδάξουν την ασφάλεια στο διαδίκτυο και την Παιδεία στα Μέσα.Το πρόγραμμα «Γίνε ήρωας του διαδικτύου» είναι διαθέσιμο χωρίς χρέωση, κατόπιναίτησης των ενδιαφερόμενων εκπαιδευτικών, σε όλα τα σχολεία της Ελλάδας. Η χρηματοδότησή του προέρχεται από το Google.org, τον τομέα φιλανθρωπίας της Google, ενώ το υλικό του συμμορφώνεται πλήρως με το International Society for Technology in Education’s Standards for Students (Διεθνής φορέας για την τεχνολογία στα εκπαιδευτικά πρότυπα των μαθητών). Από το 2017 μέχρι σήμερα, εφαρμόζεται σε 17 χώρες της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης και έχει συμβάλλει στην επιμόρφωση εκατομμυρίων χρηστών σε θέματα ψηφιακής ασφάλειας.Η διαδικασία επιμόρφωσης εκπαιδευτικώνΗ εκπαίδευση των εκπαιδευτικών στο «Γίνε Ήρωας του Διαδικτύου» γίνεται με την υποστήριξη του Ινστιτούτου Πληροφορικής του Ιδρύματος Τεχνολογίας και Έρευνας. Το πρόγραμμα απευθύνεται σε εκπαιδευτικούς πρωτοβάθμιας και δευτεροβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης αλλά μπορούν να το παρακολουθήσουν και γονείς. Τα μαθήματα περιλαμβάνουν πλήθος δραστηριοτήτων οι οποίες μπορούν να υλοποιηθούν μέσα στην τάξη, για παιδιά διαφόρων ηλικιών. Τα σεμινάρια για εκπαιδευτικούς εστιάζουν στους τρόπους υλοποίησης των δραστηριοτήτων αυτών. Επιπλέον, τα μαθήματα συνεπικουρούνται από τεχνικές παιχνιδοποίησης με τη χρήση τουΊντερλαντ (Interland), ενόςδιαδικτυακούπαιχνιδιού δράσηςκαι περιπέτειας που κάνει την εκμάθηση της ψηφιακής ασφάλειας και ιθαγένειας διαδραστική και διασκεδαστική.Προσφέρονται δύο κύκλοι μαθημάτων:O κύκλος μαθημάτων “Γίνε Ήρωας του Διαδικτύου” που απευθύνεται σε εκπαιδευτικούς Δημοτικού και Γυμνασίου (ηλικίες 9-15) και αποτελείται από –δύο δίωρα σεμινάρια.O κύκλος μαθημάτων “Γίνε Ήρωας του Διαδικτύου(μικρότερα παιδιά)“που απευθύνεται σε εκπαιδευτικούς Νηπιαγωγείου και πρώτων τάξεων του Δημοτικού (ηλικίες 5-9) –ένα δίωρο σεμινάριο.Κάθε εκπαιδευτικός έχει το δικαίωμα να παρακολουθήσει τα προσφερόμενα σεμινάρια αποσπασματικά ή στην ολότητά τους και να λάβειΠιστοποιητικό Παρακολούθησης.Περισσότερα για το πρόγραμμα Γίνε Ήρωας του Διαδικτύου και τα σεμινάρια που παρέχονται μπορείτε να διαβάσετεεδώ.Μπορείτε να δηλώσετε συμμετοχή σε κάποιο από τα προσφερόμενα σεμινάρια  απόεδώ. The Scientific Society of Olive Cultivation Encyclopedists (4E) celebrates the start of the new olive growing season 2023/24 and World Olive Day, dedicated to the vital role and irreplaceable contribution of Women. For this purpose, the Board of Directors of 4E decided this year to honor Mrs. Efi Christopoulou, chemist, expert in the European Commission and D.S.E., tastemaker, member of 4E and Mrs. Maria Mylona, ​​olive producer from Messinia, congratulating her for the position of "we olive producers, apart from subsidies, we are interested in knowledge and training". "This year's World Olive Day finds, not only olive oil, but also table olives, in Greece and internationally, at a very critical crossroads. The large reduction in production for the second year in a row creates a strong imbalance between supply and demand, with the first visible consequence being the unprecedented jump in producer prices, and therefore also in consumer prices. However, no price increase can compensate for the lost income of the producer due to the reduced of its production, while on the other hand, it inevitably results in the reduction of consumption and substitution by other vegetable oils" is stated in the relevant press release. 4E appeals in two directions: First, to all those who participate in the agro-food chain, in order to preserve cooperation among themselves in order to minimize losses in the income of olive producers and the level of consumption. In the context of the Action "Coastal erosion due to climate change: assessment and ways of effective treatment in tourist areas of the Northern Aegean and Cyprus - BEACHTECH" financed by the Cooperation Program INTERREGV-A Greece-Cyprus 2014-2020, was carried out with a large participation of the Municipality Peyias in Cyprus Conference for the presentation of the results of the Practice. During the conference, the findings of the BEACHTECH research project were presented in relation to the issues of coastal erosion on selected beaches of Lesvos, Chios and Cyprus, mainly emphasizing the field work and the results obtained for the wider area of ​​the Municipality of Peyia and the pilot study beach of Coral Bay (CoralBay). The publicity actions of the Beachtech Operation were presented by the Director of PTAVA Mr. I. Kadis in collaboration with Mr. G. Hatzargyros (development & planning advisor of PTAVA). The Conference organized by the Municipality of Peyia was attended by officials of the Regional Development Fund of the North Aegean (PTAVA), the Department of Oceanography & Marine Life Sciences of the University of the Aegean (TOTHBE) and the Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK). The Mayor of Peyia, Mr. Marinos Lambrou, addressed the conference. The conference was attended by executives from Cyprus agencies and services, such as from the Paphos District Administration, the Department of Water Development, the Department of the Environment, the Department of Fisheries and Marine Research, the Municipality of Polis Chrysochous, the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, the Department of Urban Planning of Paphos, etc.. After the presentations, a fruitful discussion followed in relation to coastal erosion in Cyprus in general, but also to the consequences of climate change.
