On Monday, September 11, 2023, the Conference on the presentation of the results of the Action "Coastal erosion due to climate change: assessment and ways of effective treatment in tourist areas of the Northern Aegean and Cyprus - BEACHTECH" sponsored by the INTERREGV Cooperation Program was successfully held in Mytilini -A Greece-Cyprus 2014-2020. The Conference, organized by the Regional Development Fund of the North Aegean (PTAVA) in collaboration with the Department of Oceanography & Marine Life Sciences of the University of the Aegean (TOTHBE), was attended by officials from the Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK) and the Municipality of Peyia, in the presence of the Mayor of Peyia Mr. Marinou Lambrou. The Regional Governor and President of PTAVA, Mr. K. Moutzouris, the Rector of the University of the Aegean, Professor D. Papageorgiou, and the Mayor of Peyia, Mr. M. Lambrou, addressed the conference. During the conference, the findings of the research project were presented BEACHTECH in relation to the issues of coastal erosion on selected beaches of Lesvos, Chios and Cyprus, the methodology followed as well as preliminary plans for the ways to protect the beaches. which had either a special or a general interest in the subject of climate change and the issue of coastal erosion, with the result that after the presentations a fruitful discussion followed. Από τη μεριά του, ο Ισπανός μπορεί να είναι η ελπίδα για ένα καλύτερο αύριο στον κόσμο του τένις, όμως η υπέρβαση που έχει κάνει τα τελευταία δύο χρόνια φαίνεται πως έρχεται με ένα τίμημα στο κορμί του. Ας μην ξεχνάμε πως μπήκε στο 2023 με προβλήματα σε όλο του το σώμα, έκανε μεν πράγματα και θαύματα στα courts όπου εμφανίστηκε αλλά κανείς δεν ξέρει αν αυτοί οι τραυματισμοί κρύβουν κάτι μεγαλύτερο. Σε ένα κορμί που, ενώ είναι τρομερά γυμνασμένο, παίζει συνεχώς στα όριά του. Ειδικά όταν συναντάει τον κατά 16 χρόνια μεγαλύτερό του Νόβακ Τζόκοβιτς.Από κει και πέρα, τα πράγματα είναι ανοιχτά τόσο για τα Masters στην Κίνα και στη Γαλλία όσο και για το Nitto ATP Finals. Ειδικά το τελευταίο έχει αποδειχτεί πως είναι του τουρνουά με τις περισσότερες εκπλήξεις από οποιοδήποτε άλλο. Κάτι που είναι και λογικό, αν αναλογιστούμε πως η ειδική δομή του αλλά και η χρονική συγκυρία του συμπίπτει με την περίοδο ξεκούρασης και αποθεραπείας πολλών παικτών.Τέλος, αυτό που προκαλεί εντύπωση είναι πως αρκετοί παίκτες της Next Gen θα θυσιάσουν προετοιμασία και αγωνιστικούς πόντους από το καλεντάρι του ATP για να ταξιδέψουν στο μακρινό Βανκούβερ και να αγωνιστούν στο Laver Cup. Το τουρνουά, που τελεί υπό την αιγίδα του Roger Federer, δεν αποτελεί ακόμα μέρος του επίσημου ημερολογίου της ATP.
