Σύνταξη :Ανδρονίκη ΚουτσαβλήΠηγή έμπνευσης θα αποτελέσουν οι παραδοσιακές τεχνικές που η σύγχρονη τέχνη έρχεται να τις εξερευνήσει και να τις αναδείξει μέσα από την δημιουργία εναλλακτικών σεναρίων «αναγέννησής των» αλλά και μετάδοσης και επικοινωνίας τους σε άλλες χώρες στο πλαίσιο της εξωστρέφειας.Η K-Gold Temporary Gallery αυτό τον Αύγουστο του 2025 εγκαινιάζει  ένα νέο πρόγραμμα καλλιτεχνικής φιλοξενίας, με προσκεκλημένη τηνΕλλάδα Δαμιανού.Κατά τη διάρκεια της παραμονής της στη Λέσβο, η καλλιτέχνιδα θα ερευνήσει την έννοια των performative scenographies. Στην έρευνα της, η επιτελεστική σκηνογραφία αντιμετωπίζεται ως μια αυτόνομη, δημιουργική δύναμη που διαμορφώνει τη σύνθεση της παράστασης και την εμπειρία του θεατή. Στη Λέσβο, θα εστιάσει στη χρήση τοπικών υλικών σεσυνεργασία με ντόπιους τεχνίτες, αναπτύσσοντας ένα «ζωντανό» σκηνικό περιβάλλον. Οι πειραματισμοί της θα αποτελέσουν τον πυρήνα ενός ευρύτερου έργου,το οποίο θα παρουσιαστεί σε δεύτερο χρόνο σε επιλεγμένες ευρωπαϊκές πόλεις.Η Λέσβος ως πηγή έμπνευσηςΣε αυτό το σημείο θα πρέπει να υπενθυμίσουμε ότι δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά που η Κ- Gold Temporary Gallery υλοποιεί δράση φιλοξενίας νέων και καταξιωμένων καλλιτεχνών, που θα γνωρίζουν την Λέσβο και θα εμπνευστούν από αυτή.  Ενδεικτικά μπορούμε να αναφέρουμε ότι τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2022 η K-Gold Temporary Gallery παρουσίασε  την έκθεση της νέας Γαλλίδας εικαστικού Camille Mollier, απόφοιτο  της Σχολής Καλών Τεχνών της Μασσαλίας που είχε στο ενεργητικό της συμμετοχές σε σημαντικές διοργανώσεις, όπως η Manifesta 13. Η τότε έρευνα της Μollier αφορά τη σχέση μεταξύ καθημερινότητας και φαντασιακού, συνδέοντας τη ψυχολογική  κατάσταση των ανθρώπων με τοπικές μυθολογίες και θρύλους. Η έκθεση«En herbe»αποτέλεσαν μία σειράν νέων ζωγραφικών έργων που δημιούργησε στη Λέσβο κατά την διάρκεια του προγράμματος φιλοξενίας καλλιτεχνών του Miramar, ένα δίκτυο που συνίδρυσε η Gallery, στοχεύοντας στην επαγγελματική ανάπτυξη και την κινητικότητα ανερχόμενων δημιουργών στη Μεσόγειο.Ο Νικόλας Βαμβουκλής με τους Alexandro Collet και Camille MollierΑνάμεσα στην Ελλάδα και το ΒέλγιοΗ K-Gold Temporary Gallery συνεχίζει να φέρνει το σύγχρονο πολιτισμό κοντά στο κοινό της Λέσβου, μέσα από καινοτόμες δράσεις, σε συνεργασία με καταξιωμένους καλλιτέχνες και σημαντικούς θεσμούς.Το καλοκαίρι του 2025 για την K- Gold Temporary Gallery «κινείται» ανάμεσα σε Ελλάδα και Βέλγιο. Αυτό γιατί με έδρα την Ελλάδα και το Βέλγιο, η Δαμιανού δραστηριοποιείται στον χώρο της περφόρμανς, του ενδυματολογικού και σκηνογραφικού σχεδιασμού. Αυτή την περίοδο συνεργάζεται με τους διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένους χορογράφους Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker και Radouan Mriziga.Από την άλλη η έκθεση BLUE MOON τουΓιώργου Μαραζιώτημε μεταπτυχιακούς τίτλους σπουδών στις Καλές Τέχνες από την Βασιλική Ακαδημία της Αμβέρσας, παραμένει ανοιχτή στην Αγία Παρασκευή έως τις 31 Αυγούστου (Παρασκευή–Κυριακή, 11:00–14:00 και 19:00–22:00, με ελεύθερη είσοδο).Η εξωστρέφειαΤο πρόγραμμα που  πραγματοποιείται με την υποστήριξη τηςΠεριφέρειας Φλάνδρας,ενώ θα πρέπει να πούμε ότι ο καλλιτεχνικός Διευθυντής της K- Gold Temporary GalleryΝικόλας Βαμβουκλήςμε την επιμονή, την μεθοδική δουλειά και το καλλιτεχνικό του «δαιμόνιο» έχει μέχρι τούδε επιτύχει σημαντικές συνεργασίες στο πλαίσιο αυτής της εξωστρέφειας.Ενδεικτικά μπορούμε να αναφέρουμε ότι ο Νικόλας Βαμβουκλής έχει επιμεληθεί εκθέσεις στη Mediterranea Young Artists Biennale, τη Μπιενάλε Θεσσαλονίκης και το Ίδρυμα Sandretto Re Rebaudengo. Έχει συνεργαστεί με το Υπουργείο Παιδείας, το Υπουργείο Πολιτισμού,  το Υπουργείο Κοινωνικής Συνοχής και Οικογένειας, το Τμήμα Καλών Τεχνών του Τεχνολογικού Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου, την Bjcem - Association Biennale des Jeunes Créateurs de l'Europe et de la Méditerranée Ι Μπιενάλε Νέων Δημιουργών Ευρώπης και Μεσογείου, τον Όμιλο Benetton, το Béjart Ballet Lausanne, το Prague Quadrennial, την Triennale Milano τον Δήμο Μιλάνου κά.Συνεισφέρει σε περιοδικά και εκδόσεις, όπως το The Art Newspaper και το MIT Press. Έχει βραβευτεί από την ARTWORKS ως Fellow του Προγράμματος Υποστήριξης Καλλιτεχνών Ίδρυμα Σταύρος Νιάρχος.Scenographies in Lesvos with Greece Damianou, supported by the Region of Flanders and driven by the K-Gold Temporary GalleryLocal traditional techniques as a source of inspiration for contemporary artByAndroniki KoutsavliTraditional techniques will serve as a source of inspiration, as contemporary art seeks to explore and highlight them through the creation of alternative “revival” scenarios, as well as their transmission and communication to other countries as part of an outward-looking approach.This August 2025, the K-Gold Temporary Gallery inaugurates a new artist-in-residence program, featuring invited artist Greece Damianou.During her stay in Lesvos, the artist will explore the concept of performative scenographies. In her research, performative scenography is approached as an autonomous, creative force that shapes the composition of the performance and the experience of the viewer. In Lesvos, she will focus on the use of local materials in collaboration with local craftsmen, developing a "living" scenic environment. Her experimentation will form the core of a broader project, which will later be presented in selected European cities.Lesvos as a source of inspirationIt is worth noting that this is not the first time that the K-Gold Temporary Gallery has implemented an artist residency program, welcoming both emerging and established artists to discover and be inspired by Lesvos. For example, in September 2022, the K-Gold Temporary Gallery hosted an exhibition by the young French visual artist Camille Mollier, a graduate of the Marseille School of Fine Arts, who had already participated in major events such as Manifesta 13. Mollier's research at the time focused on the relationship between daily life and the imaginary, connecting the psychological state of people with local mythologies and legends. Her exhibition,En herbe, consisted of a series of new paintings created in Lesvos during the artist residency program organized by Miramar, a network co-founded by the Gallery, aimed at the professional development and mobility of emerging creatives in the Mediterranean.Between Greece and BelgiumThe K-Gold Temporary Gallery continues to bring contemporary culture closer to the public of Lesvos through innovative initiatives in collaboration with acclaimed artists and major institutions.In the summer of 2025, the K-Gold Temporary Gallery moves "between Greece and Belgium." This is because, with professional roots in both countries, Greece Damianou works in the fields of performance, costume, and scenographic design. At present, she is collaborating with internationally recognized choreographers Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Radouan Mriziga.On another front, the exhibition BLUE MOON byYorgos Maraziotis,who holds a postgraduate degree in Fine Arts from the Royal Academy of Antwerp, remains open in Agia Paraskevi until August 31st (Friday–Sunday, 11:00–14:00 and 19:00–22:00, with free admission).Extroversion and international collaborationsThe program is carried out with the support of the Region of Flanders. It is important to note that the artistic director of the K-Gold Temporary Gallery,Nikolas Vamvouklis,through his persistence, methodical work, and artistic vision, has so far achieved significant collaborations as part of this outward-looking strategy.Indicatively, Nikolas Vamvouklis has curated exhibitions at the Mediterranea Young Artists Biennale, the Thessaloniki Biennale, and the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo. He has also collaborated with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family, the Department of Fine Arts of the Cyprus University of Technology, and the Bjcem - Association Biennale des Jeunes Créateurs de l'Europe et de la Méditerranée. His partners include the Benetton Group, Béjart Ballet Lausanne, the Prague Quadrennial, Triennale Milano, and the Municipality of Milan, among others.He also contributes to journals and publications such as The Art Newspaper and MIT Press, and has been awarded by ARTWORKS as a Fellow of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Artist Support Program.
