In a world where knowledge and innovation know no boundaries, collaboration between resident and Albanian diaspora scholars, is becoming increasingly important for the future of education, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Albania. The exchange of experiences and the acquisition of new knowledge from some of the most innovative models in Europe and the world is one of the core goals of the “Diaspora4Innovation” project. Knowledge exchange was the purpose of a study visits to Venice, undertaken by a group of 12 academics, both resident in Albania and from the diaspora, together with representatives from GERMIN, EU4Innovation, and the media. The visit included an innovation hub: H-FARM, a venture builder, a campus focused on creating innovation ecosystems, aiming for impactful change and empowering future leaders, all fuelled by artificial intelligence (AI); and Future Farming, a technology transfer centre developed in partnership by Zero and H-FARM.
