The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO) has once again postponed the decision on the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, against whom SPAK (Special Prosecution) has requested a toughening of the measure from 'mandatory appearance' to 'house arrest'.The next session will take place on Saturday, December 30 at 12:00.The postponement was made to give the opportunity to the defence lawyers to submit the request for the dismissal of the trial panel.We remind you that the SPAK has requested for Sali Berisha the security measure of "house arrest", this is because the former prime minister did not recognize the court's decision to appear on the first and third Monday of every month, arguing that the decision is unconstitutional, as the parliamentary route was not followed.SPAK's request was submitted to the Special Court after the Parliament authorized the Anti-Corruption Prosecution to remove the immunity of Sali Berisha's MP.Berisha is accused of passive corruption for the privatization of the former sports club "Partizani".
